The atmosphere is very peaceful not to mention they make sure to bring your food out to you and to greet you time you walk in. It was my first time coming in and I feel like I've been coming in here for years. They will definitely make you feel welcomed and the food and coffee taste amazing.
“My daughter and I stumbled upon this cool breakfast spot while visiting Laurel, and we’re so glad we did. Fraiche may have a smaller menu, but the selections are unique and thoughtfully crafted. We tried the Figgy Bagel and one of their spritzers—both were fantastic. The bagel was especially delicious; the thyme in the cream cheese paired perfectly with the fig preserves. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the customer service was excellent. A great find!”
Went in early in the morning and ordered the Rise and Shine with their Punch Spritz for breakfast. The food I ordered was delicious and fresh. The drink was fruity and refreshing. Customer service was very nice and I didn’t have to wait long at all. Great interior and atmosphere. Price for the food was about $11 and the drink made it go up to $20 in total, which isn’t bad at all in my opinion. 100% would come back. Personal rating: 4.5/5
This is good, fresh food. We both had bowls. My only knock is the chicken was a little dry and we would have preferred a greater “toppings”-to-rice ratio, but the bowls were tasty and had good, fresh ingredients. Nice, trendy, airy vibe and friendly, efficient service.
Great Summer Breeze bowl. Cute place!! Very clean and sweet people helping us. Will for sure go back when passing through again. Only issue was the road construction but hopefully it will be finished soon.
I had the curry potato soup, which was really amazing and had me trying to recreate it within a week. The only thing I could complain about was not getting anything to drink (water is given out for those who order other drinks but not for food?), which was more of a random personal nuisance than a problem in their restaurant. Overall great food, and others there seemed to enjoy their coffees.
Great savory and sweet options. Good coffee. Friendly service. Street needs to be fixed so the cafe is more visible. Interior is well laid out. Lots of wall space where local art could be displayed. Loved the easy jazz play list.
If you need a fresh spin on food in Laurel, Fraiche is the place for you. After walking in the hot sun, the lite Mediterranean vibe and dishes hit the spot. Plus Laila, the nicest server in Laurel, knows the menu and will help you find the dish/drink for you. Highly recommend and will return any time we are in the area!
I had some fasting blood work done this morning and wanted to have a good breakfast afterwards. Had looked this place on line last night and it looked good, so I wanted to give it a try. It was really good! I had the "Sunny Side Of The Street" - 3 Buttermilk Pancakes, 2 Eggs and 2 Slices of Bacon and just a regular cup of black coffee. It was all really, really good! Large coffee, thick pancakes (not sure what syrup they used, but it was delicious) the bacon was cooked perfectly (I know people like bacon different ways) but was really crispy. I'm not sure about their lunches, but will try to go back and try one of those at some point. If your're in downtown Laurel, go by and give them a try. Service was great and it was a nice place. They are across the street (301 Central Ave which is under repair right now) from Rusty Chandelier and Mimmo's. Parking may be a bit difficult at the moment, but was worh the short walk.
HEALTHY French/Mediterranean dishes that taste homemade. Husband/Wife team with classical French culinary training, even working with Thomas Keller, world-famous French Laundry Chef in California. This is newly opened and there is construction around the cafe but well-worth the effort to find them.
